OOC: I had a bad case of Ever-Present Stink Eye once. Thankfully my doctor was able to prescribe a topical cream that cleared it right up, thus proving that it wasn't so ever-present after all. haha!!

| For anyone still checking the forums, and interested in keeping the game going, just wanted to pass along some info.
Chatted w/Mike via e-mail today. He's still having problems with certain forums (this one and another) and so is unable to post anything. His hard drive crashed and he's unable to locate the boot disc.
Anyway... he really wants to keep this going, so just bare with him for a while longer while he gets his PC issues figured out.
Thanks! | |

| So, something occurred to me tonight as I sat in Barnes & Noble, reading the Player's Handbook for D&D 4E:
Google+ would be freaking awesome for PbP RPGs.
You can create a Circle for every campaign you're playing, which would give you the ability to read only the posts for that campaign, and be able to post only to that Circle to keep the game going. Maybe the DM is the only one who starts topics and everybody else just replies to them, saying what they'd like to do next, that way it doesn't get too out of control. You can post pictures, videos, you could even do a Hangout with just your party and actually have a live session every once in a while.
The only hiccup I can see is you'd need to figure out some way to have a random number generator post to G+ automagically to keep everybody honest (or just trust the guys you play with to be honest about their rolls). I suppose you could still use the generator on a site like this, too; you'd just need to write a post about the action you're rolling for so there's some record of what happened in case anyone disputes it, and then post the results on G+.
Just an idea. One that might be worth considering someday if anyone's interested.

| Seriously, Space, are you getting paid by Google+?? Can't you just stick with FB like all the other Sheeple? Ok, it's something I'd be willing to consider. But regarding the dice rolling, that's already taken care of. http://www.unseenservant.com/Default.asp?do=homeThis is the dice roller application I use for several PbP games I'm on. Your GM creates a campaign and gives you the campaign number. You create an account and the character for that campaign, then build macros for all of the rolls you commonly make. You can also do on-the-fly dice rolling if you want. The site records and maintains all rolls. You can link back to your rolls or you can go to a page where you can see all rolls for that campaign. | |

| I WISH I was getting paid by Google to pimp G+. Then again, they don't have to pay me to try to get people to stop using Facebook - that's a personal crusade of mine Unseen Servant seems like a pretty darn good solution. Thanks for pointing it out to me! Maybe someday this idea would be worth trying. I just thought I'd throw it out there as a topic of discussion until we're back up and running here... | |

| Hey guys! I am back on the internet, at least for a while. Google+ sounds like an ok idea, but one thing I like about message boards is that I (and the players) can go back through and check everything.. there's a record of what people have done. That way, in case I get behind on xp, for example, it's possible to accurately catch that up.
If people are still interested (I hope) I will pick the action thread up again.

| I, on the other hand, have no recollection of where we were... I'll have to do some reading. I'll just assume, though, that we're waiting for Mike to respond to our actions. Oh, Mike, do you want to check and see if Cole is still in? | |

| Mike,
I just remembered... GhostofMarx had worked up a character and your PC broke before we ever got him into the game. Might be worth trying to contact him and see if he's still interested, as well.
Any news from Cole? | |

| Sorry, guys - I wasn't getting any email updates again.
Ok, so, who wants to give me the CliffsNotes version of what the heck's going on?
I remember some mysterious balloon (or something) lifting Warforged away in the middle of the night. But what are we doing back at the keep? Is Meier the one responsible for the Forged revolution? Is Jung a bad guy? Any help would be appreciated...

Any news from Cole? I talked with Cole, and he's starting a new production. He can't join in right now, but I'm going to go ahead and NPC Ducats for the time being. Spacemonkey - exactly who is responsible for the forged revolution, and how it was accomplished, are the big mystery right now. Meier is clearly a bad guy, but the party doesn't know yet whether Jung is or not. You all have arrived back at the garrison after chasing down the fleeing Meier on horseback, an activity to which your character felt strangely attuned.

Is Finora a 5th Gen Cylon Warforged? The chasing somebody down on horseback part After all, warforged look totally different than humans. Don't they?
